Meet JNS: Danielle Vassallo and Nataliya Yedidovich

Our team at JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE continues to grow with dynamic designers ready to bring their expertise to new projects. We recently welcomed interior designer Danielle Vassallo and project manager Nataliya Yedidovich.

Danielle specializes in functional and beautiful hospitality design in both the U.S. and abroad, while Nataliya adds nearly two decades of international and domestic architectural experience to our firm.

Hear more from Danielle in her own words:

Why did you join JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE?
I was initially drawn to JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE for their strong focus in hospitality design and the detailed attention that is visible in every one of their projects. Creating a strong story and unique perspective for each project is important to me when designing and I found that similarity to the team.

What is a little-known fact about you?
So far, I have traveled to 17 countries around the world.

What is your favorite thing about Colorado?
I love how friendly everyone is, but the connection to nature and the wide range of outdoor activities is by far my favorite thing about living in Colorado.

If I weren’t an Interior Designer I would be…
A clinical psychologist. Before deciding to go to college for interior design, I applied and was accepted to many colleges for psychology. It wasn’t until right before I had to return my acceptance letter that I decided to change my major to interior design.

What is your background?
Since a very young age, I have been traveling with my travel agent mother, and became obsessed with travel and seeing the world. This drove my fascination and love for hospitality design and what led me to earn a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. After graduating, I worked for a hospitality design-focused firm in Pittsburgh for five years where I designed hotels nationally and internationally before moving to Denver. While still making time to explore the world, I combine those travel experiences with my design knowledge to create unique and thoughtful projects here at JNS.

Nataliya is actually a familiar face at JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE! Nataliya was an integral part of the success of The Maven Hotel and The Ramble Hotel and we’re thrilled to have her rejoin the team.

In Nataliya’s own words:

Why did you join JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE?
I was drawn to JNS for their team approach to projects. The work environment encourages creativity and collaboration which is important to me.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?
Don’t forget to breathe.

What is your favorite thing about Colorado?
It is home.

If I weren’t an Architect I would be…
It’s impossible to even imagine being anything else!

What is your background?
I received a Master of Architecture from the Architectural School of Odessa Institute of Civil Engineering in the Ukraine. With almost two decades of well-rounded international and domestic architectural experience, I have designed, produced documentation and facilitated construction administration for a wide variety of building types and site developments in different jurisdictions.
