The Perry Hotel Key West’s upscale interior has received another honor, this time taking home a prestigious 2018 Hospitality Design Magazine Award for “Best Upscale Public Space.”
The 100-key boutique hotel on Stock Island, Florida, which is home to a working marina, features a stunning pool deck and bar, outdoor restaurant, sunset lounge and fitness center.
The open and inviting lobby welcomes guests with a mix of concrete and reclaimed teak flooring, materials that combine rustic, maritime charm with high-end luxury amenities.
JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE designed all of the public spaces at The Perry Hotel Key West, working in tandem with operator Hostmark Hospitality, guest-level interior design firm Casa Conde & Associates and architects Pope + Scarbrough.
The inspiration for the design was taken from the industrial history of Stock Island, featuring materials commonly found in the area.
The Perry Hotel Key West has already taken home several other design awards, including a Boutique Design Magazine Gold Key Award for Best Upscale Lobby.
It was also featured in Architectural Digest as a top 12 best-designed hotels of the year when it opened in 2017.
