Architecture Hospitality Design Firm Returns to Expand the Wine Country Inn, Palisade

MILE HIGH CRE | DENVER – JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE, a Denver-based architecture and interior design firm specializing in hospitality, urban housing and mixed-use projects, has returned to Colorado’s wine country to design a new winery, tasting room, restaurant and ballroom additions for the Wine Country Inn in Palisade. Owners Richard and Jean Tally originally tapped JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE to design the 80-key Wine Country Inn in 2009.

The 12,000-square-foot winery and tasting room will allow the Tallys to produce wine from their own grapes on the 23-acre farm. The 3,000-square-foot kitchen and restaurant addition includes an outside entrance for local guests as well as new signage to increase visibility from I-70. The addition provides for a shared kitchen, allowing an 800-square-foot ballroom expansion.
