MILE HIGH CRE | JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE, a Denver-based architecture and interior design firm specializing in hospitality, urban housing and mixed-use projects, has completed architecture and interior design for Moxy Denver Cherry Creek, the first of Marriott’s lifestyle hotel brand to arrive in Colorado.
JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE collaborated with partners GE Johnson Construction and Vision Hospitality Group to complete the project for BMC Investments.
The 170-room hotel is geared toward millennial travelers with an emphasis on experiential design that encourages social interaction. Details are playful and clever without ever losing the high-end feel of the Cherry Creek neighborhood.
“JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE’s design for Moxy is an embodiment of our approach, in which we seek to effortlessly blend creativity and practicality,” said Tobias Strohe, partner at JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE. “Moxy Denver Cherry Creek’s design appeals to the functional requirements of the intended consumers while incorporating inventive, experiential design elements that foster a more memorable guest experience.”
