Revitalizing a Historic Art Building in Downtown Denver

JNS is thrilled to announce plans for a new residential project in Downtown Denver called Art Studios. We will be providing the interior design and architecture for the project, which involves the conversion of a vacant 10-story building at 1200 Lincoln Street – most recently home to the Art Institute of Colorado – into a 194-home attainably priced micro-apartment community.

Our design is inspired by the modular iconic mid-century character of the original building, which was built in 1962. We are looking forward to respectfully revitalizing the downtown building to preserve its place in Denver history.

An Update from the Fitzgerald

Progress continues at The Fitzgerald, a 524,000-square-foot mixed-use project located at 18th and Market. This month, the contractor is finishing up installing brick on the building at the 19th & Market corner.

Slated for completion in mid-2021, the 11-story Fitzgerald will bring 282 for-rent residences to Denver’s Lower Downtown (LoDo). The development will also include 9,375 square feet of ground floor retail and 304 parking stalls.

Featuring studios, one and two-bedroom floor plans as well as penthouses, the Fitzgerald will provide a modern living option in the bustling neighborhood with lifestyle-driven amenities and proximity to top restaurants, entertainment and retail destinations.
