Celebrating Green Design This Earth Month
During this Earth Month, as architects and designers, we reflect on the importance of sustainability as it relates to the built environment. From studies showing that consumers are more likely to buy from businesses that are environmentally friendly, to the commitment we all share to reduce our carbon footprint, it’s clear that sustainable design is more than a trend. It’s a necessity.
PHOTOS: The Sheraton Hotel Renovation
At JNS, we are proud to create beautiful spaces that truly contribute to the fabric of the community. The newly renovated Sheraton Hotel provides an anchor at the east end of the 16th Street Mall, bringing renewed energy and activation to the area.
JNS was proud to serve as the architect and designer on public spaces and porte cochère for this project, which began welcoming visitors earlier this year. Our design intention embraces the history of the iconic building – originally designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei – and also creates a modern space that people can enjoy today.
A JNS Site Walk at The Fitzgerald
This month, JNS safely gathered for a site walk at our Fitzgerald multifamily project to see construction progress. These site walks are a great way to keep our entire team involved in our projects and provide fantastic learning opportunities for our junior-level designers.
JNS is providing the architecture and interior design for this eleven-story building located at 18th and Market in the active LoDo area of Downtown Denver. Slated for completion in July, this project will provide 282 for-rent units with over 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
