JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE Partner Nicole Nathan was recently honored at Bisnow’s Denver Power Women event, a celebration of some of Denver’s most influential leaders in business and commercial real estate.
A diverse perspective is critical to the success of JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE, where 68 percent of our firm and 70 percent of its leadership team are women. Our firm is truly proud to be among those leading the charge and defying the traditional image of the C-Suite executive.
Nicole Nathan joined what used to be JG Johnson Architects in 2002 as a junior designer after earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Now a partner at JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE, Nicole leads the firm’s architectural and interior design studios, focusing on hospitality, urban mixed-use and multi-family housing projects.
On both her team at JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE and in the broader community, Nicole strives to bring diversity of perspective to Colorado’s architecture and design industry and show that great design doesn’t come from one perspective. It is rather inspired from new experiences and interactions that show new ways of looking at the world.
Some of her most notable projects include The Maven Hotel at Dairy Block and Moxy Denver Cherry Creek. Nicole says she is perhaps most proud of the Maven as it embodies the JNS philosophy of ‘pragmatic beauty’ through a holistic and contextual design that tells comprehensive story.
