Building the Future: Welcoming Two Emerging Architects to JNS
Exciting news is brewing at JNS as we proudly welcome two talented architects in training to our creative family! With fresh perspectives and a passion for innovation, they are set to elevate our design endeavors to new heights.
MALAAK MADHOUN, ARCHITECT-IN-TRAINING
Malaak is a Colorado native, holds a BSARCH and is currently pursuing licensure in architecture and planning. Her passion for architecture is motivated by making a positive impact to the planet and its people. A valuable lesson she learned is that there is victory in defeat, so long as passion is not lost. As an eager learner and student of life, Malaak is excited to learn and grow alongside talented and like-minded architects and designers so she can make a lasting impact through her work in architecture and design.
MIKI BLAIR, ARCHITECT-IN-TRAINING
Growing up around some of Denver’s historic sites like The Oxford Hotel and Denver Union Station, Miki’s love for architecture and historic preservation started at a young age. She loves the unique history and narrative that each building tells and eagerly wants to preserve them and continue their meaningful place in the community. She received her Master of Architecture from the University of Kansas and then went on to receive a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Colorado - Denver.
Miki believes in the benefits of pursuing outside interests, as well. She loves to travel, surround herself with good books, and enjoys mountain activities. She is engaged in the communities that she lives and works in.
Miki’s passion is to contribute to the future by preserving the past that exists all around us, creating a rich experience for locals and visitors alike.
