JNS BRINGS HOME MORE HARDWARE!
The team at JNS had a widely successful awards season. In October, three of our projects were recognized for excellence: The Sheraton Denver Downtown, the Hilton Garden Inn at Union Station and Sheridan Station Apartments all received industry honors.
Most notably, the Sheraton took home the gold at the Downtown Denver Awards, and we were humbled to be honored among such a talented group of colleagues and friends during a beautiful fall evening in McGregor Square.
Donning our best winter coats, the JNS team celebrated the transformative reimaging of the iconic I.M. Pei design at the event under the stars hosted by the Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP). DDP described the Sheraton’s metamorphosis as one that, “embodies a collective spirit of creativity and collaboration, making it a compelling attraction to recruit new activity to Upper Downtown.”
We are proud to be among the incredible projects building the fabric of an economically resilient and vibrant center city. Honoring history makes our work deeply meaningful. The transformational work JNS put into designing the Hilton Garden Inn around Denver’s first firehouse, Hose Company No. 1 – now the Woodie Fisher restaurant – to serve as a welcoming beacon into the Union Station neighborhood was also recognized last month at the Historic Denver Awards. It was an honor to celebrate the Mile High City’s heritage and built environment among design professionals, respected craftsmen and local advocates at the Brown Palace Hotel. The Hilton Garden Inn and Woodie Fisher won the Remix Award for its innovative mix of old and new architecture.
And not to be left out of our awards round up is Sheridan Station Apartments. The building and our partners Alliance Construction were recognized by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Associate Builders and Contractors at the 2021 Excellence in Construction Awards Ceremony.
