HOSPITALITY DESIGN TO INSPIRE A SUMMER OF ADVENTURE
With more than two decades designing for hospitality, we bring a holistic approach to architecture and interior design that allows us to create harmonious spaces that engage visitors at every turn. From cozy lobbies to grand porte-cochère, and from sophisticated cocktail bars to functional workspaces, our hospitality designs seek to inspire the modern traveler’s adventures while offering practical elements that make visitors feel at home.
As travel season heats up, we’re sharing a roundup of our hospitality projects that offer the best of summer adventure.
The Maven Hotel
The Maven was designed to embody the grit and artisanal production of Denver’s past, while channeling the entrepreneurial spirit of the contemporary creative class. Featured hotel design elements include salvaged beetle kill pine, nail pattern guest room numbers, raw steel entry doors, exposed concrete ceilings and tattoo-inspired tile and graffiti art.
The central lobby and adjacent Poka Lola bar were designed as a hub for meetings, co-working and coffee. The backdoor opens to a pedestrian alley that guides visitors through Denver’s beloved Dairy Block, where independent retailers and dazzling public art can be discovered at every turn.
The Perry
Located on Stock Island in Key West, Florida, The Perry embraces the island’s laid-back culture with a casual, lived-in charm. The hotel is situated on a working marina (which includes a lobster company and a boat repair shop) and features a pool deck and bar, outdoor restaurant, and sunset lounge.
The JNS team took a hands-on approach at The Perry and carefully crafted a boat propeller installation that sits above the front desk. A string art installation hangs in the property’s on-site restaurant, hand-dyed by the JNS team.
The Halcyon
The Halcyon features a rooftop bar and pool with both city and mountain views, perfect for any summer getaway. The property is located in the heart of Denver’s Cherry Creek North neighborhood, offering some of the Colorado’s best shopping, dining and entertainment – all within walking distance.
Oceanside Springhill Suites
Located just one block from the Pacific Ocean, the recent refresh of the Oceanside Springhill Suites serves up coastal vibes with updated finishes and fixtures that are equally upscale and welcoming. A mural by local artist Michaela Sanderson serves as a playful centerpiece for the property and a colorful backdrop for casual outdoor seating.
Guests have access to bicycles, surfboards, boogie boards, games, and more – the makings of a perfect beach getaway.
