DAIRY BLOCK LAUDED WITH PRESTIGIOUS AMERICAS AWARD

Dairy Block has recieved another prestigious honor! Congratulations to the entire project team on achieving a 2021 Americas Award of Excellence from the Urban Land Institute. Designing The Maven, the block’s cornerstone eight-story independent luxury hotel, was a labor of love and we remain thrilled with how it sets a standard for hospitality experiences in Lower Downtown Denver.

This year, 72 projects and programs from across North America were submitted for the competition, with a jury ultimately selecting just 12 winners.

The Maven’s design is urban contextual, stylish and simple, with enduring materials that remain timeless against the city’s eclectic downtown fabric.

Since 1979, the ULI Awards for Excellence program has recognized truly superior development efforts that represent the highest standards of achievement in the land use profession.

Dairy Block now becomes a finalist for the 2021 ULI Global Awards for Excellence, competing against projects from Europe and Asia. You can read more about the winning projects and the jury who made the final selections here.

The Maven Hotel has received multiple awards, including the 2018 NAIOP Deal of the Year, 2017 AIA Colorado Design Award, 2017 Mayor’s Design Award and a 2017 IIDA Rocky Mountain BEST Award.
