An event designed to connect creative provocateurs and disruptors from hotels, F&B, design and finance certainly didn’t disappoint. EXPERIENCING HOSPITALITY IN-PERSON ONCE AGAIN
Our architecture and design teams had the opportunity to host an in-person tour of the newly remodeled Sheraton Denver Downtown with NEWH Rocky Mountain. The member-exclusive tour took hospitality design colleagues through this beatnik-inspired refresh of IM Pei’s original 1961 hotel design, including its Porte Cochere, façade and public spaces.
DAIRY BLOCK LAUDED WITH PRESTIGIOUS AMERICAS AWARD
Dairy Block has recieved another prestigious honor! Congratulations to the entire project team on achieving a 2021 Americas Award of Excellence from the Urban Land Institute. Designing The Maven, the block’s cornerstone eight-story independent luxury hotel, was a labor of love and we remain thrilled with how it sets a standard for hospitality experiences in Lower Downtown Denver.

A distinguished jury has chosen 15 finalists across five categories in contention for a prestigious IMPACT Award from ULI Colorado, including the JNS-designed City Park Golf Course Clubhouse!
FITZGERALD PROJECT NEARS COMPLETION
Downtown Denver’s latest urban infill project, The Fitzgerald, is getting closer to completion at 1800 Market St. JNS served as the architect and interior designer on this project, which adds 11 stories of thoughtfully designed mixed-use space to a former parking lot in one of Denver’s fastest-growing areas. A recent video walkthrough highlights the progress on this project and looks at some of the design choices.
ATTAINABLE LIVING AT ITS FINEST
Colorado Springs is in the midst of a multifamily growth spurt, and JNS is proud to be contributing architecture and interior design to one of the city’s newest projects currently underway. Introducing the 322 Vermijo Apartments, a 154-unit multifamily community setting the standard for attainable living along the Front Range.
DENVER ARCHITECTURE FOUNDATION TOURS CITY PARK GOLF COURSE
In June, JNS team member Jovina Amor helped guide an exclusive tour for the Denver Architecture Foundation around the renovated City Park Golf Course, including the City Park Golf Clubhouse, which JNS designed as part of the $45 million overhaul of the golf course.
OCEANSIDE VIBES
Inspiration abounds at the Oceanside Springhill Suites in Oceanside, California, the latest hotel renovation by JNS. Located just one block from the Pacific Ocean, the hotel is serving up coastal vibes with updated finishes and fixtures that create an upscale and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

This month, JNS safely gathered for a site walk at our Fitzgerald multifamily project to see construction progress. These site walks are a great way to keep our entire team involved in our projects and provide fantastic learning opportunities for our junior-level designers.
