This month, JNS was honored at the Downtown Denver Awards for our work on the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Union Station and Woodie Fisher restaurant.

The 233-key hotel brings needed upscale, yet affordable hotel accommodations to Central Platte Valley, with 10,000 square feet of meeting space and a main ballroom with 18-foot-high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The hotel’s exterior design incorporates authentic materials comprised of stucco and metal panel accents. Inside, the industrial chic lobby features earth tones and wooden floors, leading to the hotel’s defining all-glass curtain wall, giving guests sweeping city skyline and mountain views.

The extensive seven-year undertaking to rehabilitate the 130-year-old Hose House No. 1 building resulted in a timeless, contemporary restaurant in Denver’s Union Station neighborhood, Woodie Fisher.

Adaptative reuse is a critical piece in both helping a city retain its history and continue to grow. We are proud that our team was able to help preserve this landmark and transform it for a new era while honoring its deep-rooted history as Denver’s first firehouse.

Special thanks to Focus Property Group, BOSS.architecture and Alliance Construction Solutions for your inspiring work on this project. We are proud to have created something that will be a lasting contribution to our community and city.
