DOUBLETREE CHERRY CREEK HOTEL COMPLETES RENOVATION
JNS recently completed the renovation of a 270-room hotel in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood. Our team provided architecture and interior design services for the hotel, which was converted from a Holiday Inn to a DoubleTree by Hilton. The re-brand meant upgrading the hotel’s interior to match the new flag and creating a space befitting Cherry Creek’s upscale aesthetic.
Visitors to the hotel are greeted with a porte cochere and beautifully renovated lobby with access to meeting spaces, a pool area and workout room, as well as other amenities.
In addition to proximity to the many restaurants and shopping in the neighborhood, the hotel offers a direct connection to the Cherry Creek Trail, which runs through the city. To celebrate that amenity in the design, we brought in a strong connection with nature using light, airy finishes, greenery and geometric patterns meant to remind visitors of mountain views.
Other updates include the removal of a deteriorated pool roof and a guestroom bathroom refresh.
To complement large windows in public spaces that offer natural light and views, the design incorporates subtle hints of natural textures and elements in an updated, soothing color palette. The resulting design feels both fresh and right at home in its context.
